12x12 scrap page
Hello all. It has been some time since my last post. No excuses really, just lazyness I guess. I have done some projects, just not posting much.
Be that as it may, today I'm sharing a layout that I did for a co-worker not long ago.
Sorry, but I didn't keep track of what I used in this layout. All I know is I used what I had in my stash so it gets used up so I can go out and buy some new ``stuff```. I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by.

bliss
hello to you. today i wanted to share a little project i created using layers on a scrapbook page. i haven't made a 12x12 page in ages. it was lots of fun once i got into the grove again. usually i'm a little intimidated by all that space on a 12x12 page, but not this time. after scouring the internet for inspiration i set to work and this is the result. i used some CTMH papers that i recently purchased as well as what i had in my stash that i thought went with them. i spritzed, masked and layered until i was happy with the result.
thanks for stopping by today and taking a look.

A wedding card
While browsing my favorite blogs I found thing lovely wedding card tutorial and decided that I would make it. ( I need to start making some cards in advance instead of waiting till I need one to create one.) It was quick and simple and I was able to make it in the time frame I had before going to my everyday grind..work.
You can find the tutorial here on youtube. Because I don't have a recipient to give it to yet, I created the card in black and white instead of the bride's colors. Now when I am in need of a wedding card, I have one ready to go.

You'll have to excuse the poor quality photo. I need to set up some sort of area in my room for picture taking. In any event, thanks for stopping by today. Have a fabulous day.

Dump Truck Mini Album.
Hello all. Today I wanted to share yet another first for me, a shaped mini album. This was alot of fun to make. I got the dump truck image from B is for Boy cartridge and the papers I used are from my scraps as well as paper from DCWV Nanaa's Nursery Baby Boy. I decided to keep the album pretty simple. I really like how it turned out

Amazing Memories Mother's Day Gift
Hello all. I got a chance to sit down and blog a little so I wanted to share the mini I made for my mom. I made this one as a gate fold mini. It was totally fun to make and I will be doing another one of these again.
I used a piece od transparency over the cover and embossed it with a stamp set from Inkadinkadoo. The stickers are from my stash.
For the inside cover I used some netting, shells, glass rocks and a pin I made. The seaweed is a die cut I had in my stash before I discovered the cricut.
Here I used some chipboard shells and a fish from K&Company, some more netting (I love how this looked in the mini) and the title is from Graphicly Speaking.
Here I used more chipboard shells and more embossing. The swirls where done with perfect pearls powder.
More netting and embossing. The paper I used was mostly fro mK&Company as well as My Minds Eye. The bling is some that I had in my stash.
On this page I decided to use some Distress Crackle paint from Tim Holtz and painted the edges of the page. I added some Jolee's stickers.
Here I added some more stickers and cut out some seaweed which I dry embossed to add some texture. The seaweed is fom Life's a Beach cartridge.
I think at this point I was running out of creative ideas.
I just realized that I forgot to take a picture of the tag that is on this page. My bad!
Here you can see I got some creative inspiration back. LOL
I hope you enjoyed looking at my project today and maybe even got inspired a little. Thanks for stopping by.

Another Birthday gift, and another first for me.
Hello all. I finally get to share another Birthday gift that I have made for my friend and neighbour today. It is a mini I made of her favorite horse, and I decided to make it with acrylic. This is my first attempt at an acrylic mini album and I must say I was pretty intimidated by it. It was a blast to create and I'm happy with the way it turned out. There are only a couple of cricut cuts in this mini and I can't even remember the cartridge that I used. My bad. I'm really bad at remembering to write down what items and what cartridges I used. Anyways...I hope you enjoy .
The front cover...I love this picture.
the second page
the third page
fourth page
fifth page.....my favorite
sixth page..the flowers are ones I made, another first for me
seventh page....I had a creative block with this one
eighth page. I used a waterfall technique on this page so I was able to add more pictures to the book.
and the last page.
Thanks for stopping by today. Check back in a couple of days to see what I made for my mom for Mother's Day.

Masculin Card and Birthday gift
Hello all. Hope you are having a great day. Today I thought I would share a birthday card and gift that I made for my neighbour.
For the card I used an technique that I saw at Splitcoast Stampers. You can check out how to make this card here.
I used some LSS paper, dark brown and tan colored with a wood grain texture. The image is embossed with embossing powder and the cowboy hat is an embelishment I've had in my stash since forever. The sentiment is one from MPS stamp set that I perchased some time ago.
I really didn't know what I was going to make for my neighbour, then I came across some mini clipboards that I have around my craft room and decided to make it into a wall hanging. At first I didn't know what saying I was gonna use, so I opted for my favorite.
For this wall hanging I used the same wood grain textured paper, some thickers letters that I painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint that I sealed with ModPodge to prevent the paint from chipping off. The quote was printed on my computer. The frame is cut from Camp Out cricut solutions cartridge, and I used some twine that I had to "attach" the corners. I also braided 3 different colors of twine and then wrapped that around the bottom of the hanging. The sticker is from my stash.
I love the way this turned out so much that I'm gonna have to reproduce it just for myself. I'm so glad you could stop by today. I hope you have a perfectly scrappy day.

For My Valentine
Oh my goodness, long long time no post. I haven't been absent, just lazy and having moved out to the country my internet has double in price. Royaly pissing me off. Anyways, I managed to make a card for my sweetie for Valentines day and thought I would share, since I haven't been sharing much lately.
The only cricut cuts for this little project are the heart and the little box I did for the chocolates. I tried to make it as masculin as I could with what I had on hand. I think it turned out pretty good. Anyways, thanks for stopping by, if you haven't abandoned me permanitly by now. Hope you have a great Valentines with your someone special.
